It has been predicted by a number of
researchers and sages that in the future era, the holy River Ganga will go its
heavenly abode yet again. Some of the holiest and the most sacred destinations
in the Indian subcontinent are located by the banks of River Ganga. Once this
holy river descends back to heaven then these holy spots will lose its
significance as prime pilgrimage destinations. These places of extreme
religious importance also includes Kedarnath Dham - the resting place of Lord
Shiva and Badrinath Dham - the 8th Vaikunth of the universe where
our creator Lord Vishnu is said to sleep for 6 months and stays up for 6
months.

The Entire Country Is Responsible For Killing River Ganga:
As per our Hindu mythological history
and beliefs, when River Ganga was transferred to the earthly realm from Lord
Shiva’s matted hair it was divided in to 12 different streams, since it was
said that if the whole river goes as one then the entire earth will be
destructed and destroyed. The stream present at Badrinath earned the name of
famous river Alaknanda and this was the home for Lord Vishnu where the current Badrinath
Dham stands. Kedar valley is present on the banks of river Mandakini which is a
companion river for Alaknanda. This valley is home to one of the prime and the
holiest Jyotirlingas in India i.e. Kedareshwar. This entire valley region is a
part of district Rudraprayag and this place is named after Lord Rudra who was
re incarnated right here making this place also an extremely holy and sacred
destination.

However from the rest of the 12 streams the
existence of river Alaknanda and its companion river Mandakini remains. These 2
rivers converge a few miles ahead to form the holiest river Ganga. But now, our
this very river is losing its pristine nature due to continuous erosion caused
by mining activities, ever rising population, depletion of forest cover and as
a result of which this river is becoming increasingly polluted each day.
The Presence of Twin Peaks in Kedar Valley
The main Dham shrine of Kedarnath is set
against a backdrop of the snow clad Nar Narayan Mountains peaks. These twin
peaks are named after one of the 24 incarnations of Lord Vishnu, a sage form
who used to perform meditation here. This continuous and rigorous penance
pleased Lord Shiva and he appeared in Kedarnath. As per the holy and ancient Puranas,
River Ganga is a heavenly river and polluting this river in any manner or
tampering its prestigious form will result in the destruction of the overall Jambukhand
and will make this River Ganga return back to its heavenly abode. Currently
River Ganga has become extremely polluted and the water quality is also rapidly
depleting every day due to the said factors.

Most of the holy Hindu pilgrimage sites
are located on the banks of Rivers like Ganga, Yamuna, Krishna, Indus,
Godavari, narmada and Kaveri. However with rapid commercialization and extreme
pollution the people of India have completely destroyed the vitality of this
holy river. Due to all these inevitable reasons river Ganga has decided to go
back to her heavenly abode.
Indication from the Idol of Lord Narasimha:
It is believed that the hand of the idol
of Lord Narsimha placed in Joshimath is a clear indication of the depleting
weather conditions in the region. It is said that once the idol’s entire one
hand disappears then the Badrinath Dham will not be accessible. Once the idol
loses its one hand then the twin peaks of Nar and Narayan will become one,
shutting off the way to Badrinath Dham and hence marking the end of pilgrimage Yatra
to Badrinath Dham. Pilgrims and devotees will not be able to take Darshan of
the holy Badrinath Dham. The numerous natural disasters which had taken place
in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand is a clear indication of the fact that we have clearly
pushed the limits of nature towards complete doom, only in the name of
development and religion, and now we will have to pay a heavy price. As per the
Puranas, in the following years, the current Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham will
completely disappear and there will be a new pilgrimage circuit called Prabhbadri
in the future.

The
confluence point of holy Rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini is at Rudraprayag and
from there on; the stream reunites with Bhagirathi Ganga at Devprayag. At
Devprayag, River Ganga proceeds from the holy shrine of Uttarakhand from the holy Dham of Gangotri. After proceeding from Devprayag the entire existence of
these two rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini completely dissolves and gets absorbed
in the form of river Ganga and simultaneously Ganga River descends on to the
plains of Haridwar. After going for a Darshan of Lord Kedareshwar Jyotirlinga
seeing Lords Nar and Narayan in the Badri region is believed to rid the pilgrim
of all their sins and also grant them salvation from the karmic cycle of birth
and rebirth hence giving the moksha or salvation.
According
to the holy Badrinath Katha during the sat Yug when the gods used to reside in
earth, every one used to have holy visions of Lord Vishnu. After this Tretayug
commenced when, the gods used to be present only to the sages and saints. By
the oncoming of Dvapara Yuga all the gods became merged into one. According to
Hindu mythologies and scriptures ever since from Satyug to dwaparyug the level
of sins had gradually increased over time and the Darshan of Lords became rare.
After the end of Dwaparyug came Kaliyug which is the era we are currently
living in.
There
have been evidences and mention of Badri - Kedar disappointment from
the world. As per the Puranas after 5 thousand years of Kaliyug, earth will be
the kingdom of sin. Kaliyug will be at its pinnacle and every person’s belief
will be completely based on the basis of greed and other types of sins. There
will be a dearth of any true devotee and the entire earth will be dominated by
hypocrites and hypocrite saints. These hypocrites will misinterpret the message
of lord and religion and make the society go astray, then eventually in order
to wash away all the sins of humans on earth.
