Hyderabad is one of the most visited city in India, this is due to its tourists values and places to visit while there, tourism in the city is regarded to spur the economy of the region, it has nice buildings featuring great architectural masterpieces, being the largest city within the Southern part of India, there are too many destinations which have drawn much attention to both locals and foreigners alike, nice parks to relax and unwind, many historical temples within the city, museums, shopping Bazaars and many more places which are frequented.
- This historical mosque was built and has been in existence for many years now; its doors are open to visitors who always come in for worship and to explore the history.
- Its building took so many years to be put up, it has much symbolical and historical significance, it was built during the reign of Sultan Mohammad over four hundred years ago.
- It took more than eight thousand workers to build the mosque itself, the Sultan himself participated by laying a foundational stone to build the mosque.
- The rock which is carved to build the facade took five long years to be quarried, such facts makes it to be visited from India and worldwide by both Muslims and other explorers.
Ramoji Film City:
- Its located at the Vijayawada highway in Hyderabad, just about twenty minutes drive from the main city.
- It’s known as the world largest studio in the world, many tourists visit the region because of its film and commercial industry.
- Nice parks can also be exploited especially by families who go outing in the region; it has very lovely parks which are more than one.
- There are annual commercial filming done in the area both from the locals and foreigners, all regions of India make their films and commercials here.
Nehru Zoological
Park:
- It is a natural home for many species of animals, birds and flora, a number of animals can be viewed here at this Zoology, visitors from far and wide come here to see animals especially the Indian tamed elephants.
- There are so many birds’ species in the park also; educational tours are also directed to the Park owing to it being a home for rare species.
- The Park is very unique in that it has even very unique nocturnal animals, amphibians and much more, besides several kinds of plants surrounding its width and breadth.
- The aquatic life too is not left behind, when you visit the park many mammals like the crocodiles, hippos and several species of fishes can be viewed at the park.
Necklace Road:

- Necklace Road is a boulevard which is just on the sides of the lake, just within few minutes’ drive from the city you will find this solace place to visit.
- It is a link between the Sanjeevaiah Park and IMAX Theater; many evenings are spent here by most of the locals of the city.
- The winding strip offers a very scenic view of the city sides, fresh green lawns with a cool breeze can be experienced here, lengthy flower beds can be seen here, nice eateries on either sides of the strip.
- With its nice waterfronts and spectacular restaurants, it makes it the place which is so visited while in the city by both locals and other tourists.
Charminar and Qutub Shahi

- The Charminar is a historical monument in Hyderabad which was built in 1591. It was built in celebration of the end of a deadly plague.
- It was built by Quli Qutub Shahi in the new city of Hyderabad. The words Charminar stand for Four Towers.
- The tombs are located adjacent to the famous and well known Golconda Fort, the historical Qutub and Shahis who were the ruling elites, designed the tombs and eventually built them.
- They are a sign of historical monuments which are well preserved as a tourism attraction in the city to date, they are built on a raised place with many clusters of tombs, and this has ever attracted many visitors on a daily basis.
